Miranda Van Kol’s career in equine management began when she was seventeen at an eventing barn in the Netherlands. Her knowledge and experience in grooming and barn management is extensive. She began working for Eric van der Vleuten, a Dutch Olympic show jumper, for six years before moving to Germany. Miranda came to the United States in 1999 and began working under Lynn Little, the Leading Lady Rider in Donaueschingen, Germany, in 1996 and a member of the US Equestrian Team in Aachen. Miranda worked for the Littles for several months before starting with renowned show jumper Tani Zeidler and Olympic show jumper Joe Fargis.
Miranda later moved back to the Netherlands, where she played an essential role for equestrian teams at numerous Olympic Games. Throughout her career, Miranda has been to nearly every large International show including the Olympic Games, the World Championships, the Dutch Championships, the European World Cups, the Pan American Games and Aachen, Germany.
Since being recruited as barn manager in 2015 for Marcus Fyffe Dressage in Wellington, Florida, she has used her extensive knowledge and experience in grooming and barn management to help keep the Marcus Fyffe Dressage team in top shape and provide the best care possible.
Katrina Sadis, originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, is one of North America’s up and coming dressage competitors. Katrina won the USEF Pony Rider Dressage National Championship aboard Poldy 10 in 2014, and she has earned both her bronze and silver USDF medals. She gained a wealth of experience in horsemanship, stable management and dressage training in Lendon Gray’s Winter Intensive Program for two years in Wellington, Florida. In 2015, Katrina represented Region 2 in the junior division at the Adequan/FEI North American Junior & Young Rider Championships with her Lusitano gelding, Zepelim.
In 2015, she moved to Wellington, Florida, to join the team at Marcus Fyffe Dressage as a full-time working student. With the help of her trainers, Nicholas Fyffe and David Marcus, the pair quickly moved up to FEI Young Riders, and she won the CDI Young Rider Freestyle at Dressage at Devon in 2016. In 2017, Katrina helped her Region 3 teammates win the Young Rider Team gold medal at the Adequan/FEI North American Junior & Young Rider Championships.
Cristian Serna began his career with horses at a young age, working with his family’s herd of Paso Finos in Colombia in the early part of his life. In 2009, Cristian moved to Wellington, Florida, for his first equestrian season working under several reputable show jumping competitors and barns such as the Palm Beach Riding Academy. He then moved into the sphere of dressage competitors, working for Grand Prix trainer Mary Cameron Rollins for three years around 2012 and then Australian Grand Prix competitor Kelly Layne.
With his quality experience in grooming and care for high performance equine athletes, he has brought to Marcus Fyffe Dressage a great understanding of competitors' needs and attention to detail since he joined the team in 2016.
